April 2013 to May 2014 FRIEDMAN’S HOME IMPROVEMENT CENTER Petaluma, CA

$11M shell, site and tenant improvement project. Developer built the facility with a general contractor for the tenant Friedman’s Home Improvement. Ed was hired to oversee the construction for Friedman’s. He also guided Friedman’s executive team through the development of their interior layout, marketing theme and build out of store floor and display needs. This was a $5M project in itself.

August 2015 to May 2016 AMY’S KITCHEN Santa Rosa, CA

Amy’s Kitchen is a $400M a year company that makes frozen vegetarian foods, soups, sauces and other vegetarian based products. In 2016, Ed managed the 42,000 square foot expansion of the Dutton Facility and remodel of the Candy Line. Dutton expansion was completed in July and Candy Line completed in March. Ed is currently overseeing two additions to the Northpoint plant and developing an overall site plan for security and food safety.

Completed in October 2017 Cowgirl Creamery

Ed was in Superintendent capacity for the 6 month, $8.5M project for Cowgirl Creamery in Petaluma, CA. Oversaw the improvements for the new cheese making facility. Coordinated with process / equipment company on the production area for the cheese plant.

Completed in 2020 DeMatei & Company St. Helena, CA

Ed worked on a major remodel of their shopping center in Napa, CA in 2006. DeMatei & Company purchased a commercial building on Main Street in St. Helena CA. The building currently is used as a retail clothing outlet and fitness center. DeMatei plans to possible renovate into a multi- tenant retail center. Ed consulted during design and was the project manager.

Straus Family Creamery, Rohnert Park Ca. 2018 to 2021

Ed worked with the team at Straus Family Creamery to design the new facility to increase their production for the future. The design and permit process was over a two year span. Construction from start of remodel to production of milk was completed in 10 months. Straus has now increased their production and looking to the future with new products.
